INGREDIENTS
- 300 g quality beef mince
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp Worcester sauce
- Olive oil
- 2 burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Red onion
- Blue cheese, thickly sliced
PREPARATION
In a large mixing bowl gently mix together the mince, salt, pepper and Worcester sauce.
Divide the mixture into two, then gently form each half into a patty shape.
Open up the centre of the burger and place a piece of cheese inside. Be careful not to over-fill the burger.
Seal the meat back over the cheese and gently shape the patty into a flattish burger.
Drizzle a little oil over each side of the burger and wipe around to coat evenly.
Place the burgers on a hot, preheated griddle and cook for 10 minutes in total, turning once.
Serve piled up in the burger buns with the salad.
